It's time to give everyone a few updates on things going on at Fae Crate Headquarters!
There have been A LOT of changes and we have more coming in the next few weeks. This email is going to have quite a bit of information, but I'll try to keep it as brief as possible. There will also be some important announcements splashed in there too.
We are now our ONE YEAR MARK! Guys-- it has been a crazy topsie turvy year. We've had lots of ups and downs. There's always good with the bad and bad with the good though. I'd like to say that we've learned an astounding amount though. Which leads me to all these changes I mentioned previously...
While we've done amazing this past year, we always have room for improvement. Meagan and I took a couple of days to hash out everything we didn't like, and what we could be doing better for you guys. We've been putting some of these in place for a little bit now but we wanted to bring these changes to you guys too. You know, since it's for you.
We've brought in two new team members!
You guys might have seen our post about Ashlee & Lyss joining the Fae Crate team. Let me just say, they are a blessing from the gods.
Sometimes emails and messages have built up between the two of us to the point that it made me want to vomit just thinking about it. It's some stressful stuff, guys. These two came in and started hacking away at them and suddenly I feel like I can breathe again. I'm sure some of you have already gotten a chance to talk to them if you've emailed us in the past month.
They are absolute champs.
They each have other jobs they will be helping with. Ashlee will be taking on a big role with Bae Crate and Lyss will be helping me with some of the multitude of designs that are needed.
There's a new Helpdesk/Support system and Community Forum!
Again, this has been up for about a month. We've recently partnered with Zendesk so that all of our emails and messages are filtered and put into a ticketing system. This makes everything easier to track when we have multiple messages from the same person, and it keeps up from losing emails in the abyss. So far, it's been working pretty well!
There's also a community forum added to the Support/FAQ page!
Not only can you get ahold of us easier, but you can post publically, and others can comment and reply. You can find this all on the Support page which is linked in the menu of the website.
There are some changes to shipping costs for boxes.
I know, I know. I'm so sorry, you guys. We tried not to make too many changes in the shipping costs but prices for shipping have gone up again this year with all suppliers and we don't have much choice without causing the item worth to go down in return.
International costs will not be changing. Seelie and Unseelie shipping for US customers will both be 9.99 from here forward.
